Spotlight: Models Willy Cartier, Matthew Hitt& Cole Mohr

Female models tend to get more shine than their male counterparts despite the fact that some male models are making a name for themselves by representing some of fashion’s most prestigious brands. Meet three of them that are already making noise in the modeling industry.

Willy Cartier

21-year-old Willy Cartier is a rising French model of African/Asian (Senegal and Vietnam) from his mom and French from his dad. Born in France, he was discovered by a casting director while he was a student at the prestigious School Cours Florent in Paris.

Soon after, he was signed by Success modeling agency and was cast doing advertising campaigns for such iconic brands as Cartier Evian, Givenchy, United Colours of Benetton, Big Star Jeans and so forth…

Matthew Hitt:

In 2012, 18-year-old British model Matthew Hitt walked the runway for Alexander McQueen  Band Of Outsider and Cerruti.

Currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, when he is not modeling, Hitt is busy working on new music for his band The Drowners that he created with two of his friends.

Cole Mohr:

27-year-old, Texas born Cole Mohr is a veteran in the fashion industry. Even though his face might not be a familiar one to many, Mohr started his career in 2006 at Dior home under the guidance of Hedi Slimane.

Since starting his career, he has graced some of fashion’s most prestigious magazines Dazed&Confused, Vogue Homme and V Magazine and fronted campaigns for Dior Homme. He also walked the runway for Marc Jacobs and  Rick Owens. In 2007, he was chosen as the face of H&M and Alexander Wang and today he is still one of the most-sought after male models.
